    President Buhari meets Pastor Tunde Bakare in Aso Villa

    • Femi Adesina, one of the president's spokesmen, disclosed this but did not reveal the details about the meeting
    • Nevertheless, it was noted that the pastor's visit to the villa comes a few days after he called for a change of guard and charged Nigerians to take back the country

    Aso Rock, Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, October 15, received Pastor Tunde Bakare, the founder of The Citadel Global Community Church, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.



    Presidential spokesman Femi Adesina disclosed this as he shared photos from the meeting on Facebook.

    Pastor Bakare kicks-off massive campaign ahead of 2023

    Nevertheless, Pastor Bakare, a few days ago, called for a change of guard, asking Nigerians to take back their country.

    Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the cleric announced a campaign on Sunday, October 10, which he tagged Nigeria for Nigerians (N4N) Movement.

    Bakare also declared prophetically that come 2023, there will be a change in the country's government.

    Bakare tackles FG, describes Buhari's administration as failure

    In another report, Pastor Bakare said Nigeria was in a very perplexing situation under the administration of President Buhari.

    On Tuesday, August 24, the ex-vice-presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change said that the country was at the precipice and that many things currently happening had not been seen before.

    Pastor Bakare advises Buhari on 1999 constitution

    Meanwhile, in the view of Pastor Bakare, the federal government should make concerted efforts to do away with the 1999 Nigerian Constitution.

    The cleric on Sunday, October 10, opined that the country cannot achieve greatness and attain the best version of itself with what he described as a "glorified death certificate."

    He argued:

    “I am persuaded, as are many fellow compatriots within and outside the shores of Nigeria, that the 1999 constitution, whether as amended or to be further amended by the national assembly, is nothing more than a glorified death certificate."
