EPL: Christian Pulisic’s jersey number at Chelsea revealed

United States international, Christian Pulisic’s jersey number at Chelsea has been revealed.

Pulisic completed a £58million move to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday and will join the Stamford Bridge club at the end of the season.

According to Mirror UK, the 20-year-old will be handed the number 9 jersey at Chelsea.

The report also claimed that aside the number 9 shirt, the vacant numbers at Chelsea are as follows: 16, 19, 20, 23, 25, 26 and 32.

Speaking on his move to the West London club, Pulisic told Chelsea’s official website on Wednesday morning: “In the summer I move on to Chelsea and to a new competition, the English Premier League.

“It’s a privilege to have signed for such a legendary club and I look forward to working hard towards being a contributor to their team of world class players.”

Chelsea will tackle Southampton in tonight’s Premier League fixture at home.
