ELERUWA OF ERUWA BEGINS NEW YEAR WITH SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE AT HOME CHURCH

It was blissful and power-packed at Araromi Baptist Church, Oke-Oba, Eruwa as church members: citizens of Eruwa home and abroad worship together with the King of Eruwa Land located in Ibarapa Area of Oyo State, Nigeria.

The Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adegbola Akindele (1) is a devoted Christian (A Baptist Member) and member of Araromi Baptist Church, Oke-Oba Eruwa. The kabiesi was in the service of the first Sunday of the year to worship the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He could be seen worshipping the Lord with true obedience as he stands, raises his hands in adoration and sits as required during the Worship Service as worshippers do the same.

The Pastor of the Church, Reverend S.A. Adegbite preached on the topic: “My year of Jubilee” taking the Bible Passage from Leviticus 25:8-13 as this was the theme for the New Year. He made the point that the year is a year of liberty and ended the sermon with prayers for liberation, healing and deliverance as the New Year begins.

New Year thanksgiving was superb as the Church of God celebrates the arrival of a New Year and the new set of musical instruments. The people sang and praised God for His Benevolent Grace upon their lives as this could not be hidden as they danced and laughed amidst glorious songs.

The Kabiesi said the Closing Prayer as the service ended after the Church Pastor said the Benediction. The king was later seen greeting Church members after the Worship Service as they move out into the new week with peace and love through the Lord Jesus Christ. The love of Christ…
